Still sick...

Egad, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired! I woke up this morning feeling somewhat better, but still feverish and achy. Called in sick and was told I needed a sick note.

OK, fine, I'll go sit in the walk-in clinic, being exposed to all kinds of germs and nastiness when all I need is another day of rest. Whatever. Jump through the hoops, H.

I get a lovely doc who looked at me, listened to my chest, my cough, looked in my ears and throat and said, 'Yep, you've got bronchitis. No work for you till Tuesday. You'll be better by then.'

So my boss thought he was gonna get a note just for today got one that instead said I'm off till Tuesday. Karma's a bitch sometimes.
