Running Goals

You may notice a new ticker in my heading.

Yep, that's right. I'm going to run across the country. Terry Fox ran a marathon a day on one leg and fighting cancer. I am healthy, have two (relatively) good legs and need a new goal. While I have no intention of running 42.2 km every day, I think it'll be a cool way to track my running. Since I hate hills, I'd like to get them outta the way first, so I'm starting in my fave city, Fun-couver.

The only race I'm currently registered for is Winterstart on November 7. It's 8 km. I plan on registering for Around the Bay in Hamilton in March. Egad, 30K! Fun-couver again in May (there's another 21.1), Melissa's in September (22). This could take awhile...

Stay tuned!

YEAH for Around the Bay! I am doing that one as well. This race fills up pretty fast so don't delay too long. If you run it, I can give you the deets about it - ...hills.....
